Get a Bead on Local Initiatives
Owner Peter
Kotses is involved in several local bicycle advocacy groups, which keeps
him up to date on initiatives including
bikeway extensions, off-road trailbuilding, mapmaking and more.
If you're interested in local bike issues, stop in and introduce
yourself to Pete or e-mail him at pete@athensbicycle.com. Pete also
is active with the Athens Bicycle Club, a community cycling club that
has
been
around
since
the
1970s.

Events & Activities
Athens Bicycle hosts, sponsors
and participates in local cycling activities ranging from mountain
bike clinics to road tours to bike safety clinics for kids. The Upcoming
Events section on our front
page lists upcoming local activities,
so check there often to see what's coming up. Or stop in and check
the markerboard or talk to our staff

Having trouble with your bike? Is it just not shifting right?
Or maybe you can't get comfortable on it no matter what you do? Come
in and ask our repair staff to help you determine how to correct the
problem. We'll suggest adjustments, modifications, repairs or parts
swaps that could help you and your bike have a harmonious relationship.
