native who was voted North American Female Mountain Bike Racer of the
Year in 2004 by Velo News magazine. Sue cut her teeth on West Virginia
singletrack and loves to come back to the Mountain State to get people
excited about the sport of mountain biking.
Athens Bicycle co-owner Meredith Erlewine, an experienced mountain
racer and past Slatyfork Women’s Weekend tour guide, will be
a co-guide for the tour. For Athens Bicycle customers who sign up for
the tour, the shop will provide a free pre-tour tune-up. To take advantage
of this special offer, send an e-mail to mer@athensbicycle.com explaining
that you’ve signed up for the tour. Also feel free to e-mail
Meredith if you have questions about the tour.

on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and a tour
itinerary, visit www.ertc.com.
(Hey guys, we know you’d love to ride with Sue all weekend too,
but this is a women’s-only tour. If you’d like to travel
to Slatyfork with a spouse or friend who is attending the women’s
clinic, we can point you onto some great trails. Please pass this information
along to your female riding buddies.)
Hope to see you there!
