Lake Hope Trails Earn Spot in National Ranking!

Mountain Bike Quarterly conducted a reader poll to find out the best places to ride in each of the 50 states, and Lake Hope State Park came out on top for Ohio. Members of Athens Bicycle Club (including Athens Bicycle owners Peter Kotses and Meredith Erlewine) started building the trails in 1998, starting with a 3.5-mile section called Sidewinder. Today, there are more than 23 miles of singletrack trails at the park. Click here for more information on these trails.
