Athens Spring Ride, Nelsonville
Athens Bicycle Club member Tom Wolf organizes this tour, which treats cyclists to scenic routes of varying distances.

Athens Bike Rodeo, Athens Community Center parking lot, 9 a.m.-noon
Local organizations and businesses sponsor this fun event where kids learn about bike safety and skills.

May 7-9

Mountain Biking in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley with Ohio University’s Outdoor Pursuits
Athens Bicycle is teaming up with OU’s Outdoor Pursuits Program to travel to Virginia’s Douthat State Park, home to some of the best trails on the East Coast. Experience incredible downhills, challenging climbs, a crazy swinging bridge, and beautiful scenic vistas.

Hocking Outback Trail Adventure, Nelsonville
Highlights of this two-day event will include a half marathon and 5K run, a bike tour, a mountain bike race, and an adventure race.
