2009 Athens Bicycle Mountain Bike Team Roster

Athens Bicycle is pleased to announce the roster for its 2009 Mountain Bike Racing Team. The team's 1 8members will participate in races in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania and other nearby states.

Team goals are to support grassroots mountain bike racing, to build camaraderie, to encourage people to challenge themselves, and to contribute to bicycle advocacy efforts.

The team's local sponsors are Kerr Distributing, Global Cooling, the Cats Den, and Thyme and Again Gardening. Trek Bicycle Corporation also is providing sponsorship.

In addition to racing in 2009, team members will volunteer at local bike advocacy events including the OU-COM Bike Rodeo and trail maintenance at local parks.
