2008 Gravel Rouser Classic Event Recap

Stage 1: Thunderbunny Time Trial

The 5th Annual Gravel Rouser Classic got off to a slippery start on Thursday, March 20, with the Thunderbunny Time Trial at Strouds Run State Park.

Returning champion Brian Matter of Wisconsin again placed first, followed by local fast guys Andy James (second) and Craig "Mr. Fast" Watson (third).

On the women's side, local racer (and Athens Bicycle co-owner) Meredith Erlewine placed first, with Kelly Shaw (second) and Klara Hitchcock (third) rounding out the podium.
