Members of Athens Bicycle's 2006 Mountain Bike Racing Team have made an excellent showing at the first five races of the West Virginia Mountain Bike Association point series.

As of the end of May, many team members had moved into top positions in various categories. Current standings include:

Kelly Shaw, 3rd place, sport women
Kim Broughton, 4th place, vet women
Aaron Burk, 5th place, vet sport men
Corey Chambers, 1st place, high school men
Meredith Erlewine, 3rd place, expert women
Peter Kotses, 1st place, vet expert men
Duncan Green, 4th place, high school men
Craig Watson, 1st place, single speed
