Athens Bicycle to Host Test Ride Day
Athens Bicycle
will host a special test ride day at Lake Hope State Park
near Zaleski, Ohio, on Friday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event
will feature 2004 road and mountain bikes from Trek, Gary Fisher,
LeMond and
Klein. This is your chance to try some of the same bikes that world
class
athletes use to win races! We’ll provide marked courses for both
road and
mountain bike test rides. The road bike course will feature paved
roads in
and around Lake Hope State Park, while the mountain bike course will
follow
singletrack trails built by Athens Bicycle Club, a local cycling organization. Both road and mountain bike test rides will begin at
the
Mountain Bike Trailhead Parking Lot (use the beach entrance off State
Route
278). Test riding the bikes is free, refreshments will be available,
and
