The 24-hour race scene is filled with diversity. You have the solo riders who do nothing but ride, and on the other end you have riders who do nothing but party. Either way there is not much sleep going on and good times abound. Tiki torches, lighted hula hoopers, mirror balls, karaoke machines and Elvis impersonators all come out at night. It's hard to keep your wits about you, and having all of that combined with sleep deprivation can push your limits in a good way. This past weekend at the 24 Hours of Big Bear my good friend Thomas Jenkins and a top-notch support crew (Joey Boyle, Jim Schulz and Kevin Keane) put in an awesome effort that landed our team on the podium. Great job team Horse & Saddle!
