On New Year's Day I got together with some of my favorite bike polo enthusiasts for an impromptu game. The wind was blowing and there was a small bit of snow on the ground but we were all bundled up and having a great time. All the usual league players where there, including Athens County Bike Polo Association superstars Aaron "Tornado" Burk and Kelly Shaw. After a few wipe outs, many goals scored, and the usual bike polo tomfoolery we called it a day, leaving me looking forward to warmer weather and the '08 bike polo season.
