A Cold Day on the Road

OU Cycling hosted who knows how many racers today for a collegiate road race at Lake Hope State Park. There were hundreds of people there. I drove the wheel car for the Women's A race (above is a clump of them headed up Mine Hollow Road near Zaleski). I drove around several nice racers who had flatted and were BUMMED. Rumor has it there was a fist fight (two on one!) in a ditch during the Men's A race, but I missed the action. Afterward I went for a nice mountain bike ride. It was much warmer in the woods. And no fist fights!
