Say it loud, say it proud: The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles released a Share the Road commemorative license plate last year. However, 1,000 people must purchase the plates annually to ensure continued production. As of mid-December, approximately 800 plates had sold. If you haven’t considered these plates, consider this: for less than $2 a month you can support a worthy cause (the additional charge that allows you to show your cycling spirit even when you are sitting in the wrong vehicle goes toward the production of bicycle safety pamphlets). And, it doesn’t hurt for this slogan to appear as many places as possible. If you already have your plates for the year you can renew (again) and the BMV will prorate your payment to reflect what you’ve already paid. Go ahead and support a good cause!
