Fab rider and all-around nice guy Harlan
Price preps his bike for Stage 4 of the 2006
Tour de Burg in Harrisonburg,
Va., this morning. After four days of
racing, Harlan was running second in
the GC (he's also leading the National
MTB Ultra Endurance Series after winning
the Mohican 100 and placing second at
the Lumberjack 100). Let's hope he checked
his tires for cuts and nicks because
during Stage 2 he suffered a debilitating
flat while the peloton raced to put time
between themselves and him. Harlan fought
hard during Stage 3 but still was unable
to regain the yellow jersey. Will he
take it back after today's battle?
Back
here in Ohio we've lost a good friend.

a year-and-a-half long battle with cancer.
