Last
year the shop sponsored a mountain bike team
for the first time, and we had so much fun
we want to do it again. Check out this wrapup of
the 2006 season. Now we're preparing the
roster for Athens Bicycle's 2007 Mountain
Bike Racing Team. Do you think you might
be a good addition? We're interested
in hearing from ladies and gentlemen of all
levels of experience -- beginners through
expert level. Team members compete in races
in Ohio, West Virginia and other nearby states,
and volunteer time for bike advocacy projects.
If you want to get in on the fun, throw your
helmet in the ring to be considered for the
team. Send an e-mail to ridebikes@athensbicycle.com with
"Race Team" in the subject line. Be sure
to answer the following three questions:
1.
What experience do you have with bike racing?
(If none, explain why bike racing interests
you.)
2.
What personal characteristics do you have
that would contribute positively to the
team?
3.
What are your cycling goals for 2007?
