Yesterday
was the annual WVMBA race
planning meeting, so Pete and I headed over
to Coopers
Rock State Forest for a ride before the meeting. Many thanks
to Marc Glass for the guided tour of the
rocky, beautiful trails. The main
lookout at Coopers
Rock is so cool that it's hard to describe,
and several of the trails traversed rock
formations and rhodo tunnels. It was a sunny,
beautiful December day. A few miles and a
few margaritas later it was time to get down
to business. Things are
still being finalized but it looks like there
will
be no shortage of fun events on the race
calendar for 2007, including two
Ohio/W.V. dual points races. Tentatively,
it looks like it will be logistically possible
for some crazy loons to be competitive in
both the Ohio and West Virginia series if
they want to race every weekend for about
six months. Any takers?
